Responsibilities
- Involved in web development and maintenance based on the given requirements and specifications.
- A proactive attitude to problem-solving and understanding of the role of development in a creative environment.
- Keep up to date with the latest web technologies, trends and programming techniques.
- Cooperative collaboration with direct supervisor and other team members.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Create a website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent.
- Added advantage if candidates have knowledge in search engine optimization basic requirements.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Applicants must be willing to work in IOI Boulevard, Puchong and able to commit a minimum of six months duration.
- Passion for building User Interfaces and Applications that are highly usable and incredibly fast.
- A solid understanding of design, color and typography principles.
- Portfolio demonstrating user-centric responsive website design.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- An affinity for current industry developments, design trends, and technologies.
